I was given the option for a free quote or a $69.00 on-site inspection fee. I completed the requirements for a free quote and they sent me an estimate of $788.50 to replace the hinges and repair scuffs on the edges of my bar cabinet.

Once I mentioned to Rebekah via email that I'm sending the quote to the company I purchased the cabinet from, she told me she would need to set up an on-site inspection that would be $169.00. I questioned her why the inspection fee would be $100 more from a previous text I received. She said it's because of the additional trips. So I asked her if they will be coming out more than the standard (inspection + repair) and she told me to call the office the next day.

I emailed, texted, called, and left a voicemail as requested by Rebekah with no response. I'm also confused why the price suddenly raised. Attached are the photos I provided to Furniture Medic for my initial "free" quote.

I just surprised my wife by having the folks at this furniture repair shop fix my wife's grandmother's old rocking chair. They did a great job. And they ladies there were very friendly.

All in all: a very, very good experience. I recommend them. 🙂

Furniture Medic fully restored three sentimental furniture pieces that were passed down to me from my late Great Grandmother and my late Uncle. I had damaged the veneer edging on our cabinet when moving it out of the way for a home renovation project and needed to have it repaired quickly and discreetly. Furniture Medic efficiently took my details, scheduled a pick up and had my piece back to me within a few days. They were friendly and communicative throughout and deposit/payment was handled smoothly.

Absolutely do not recommend. The first ask you to send pictures, but when they realize its nice furniture, they need to come to your house to provide a quote. The quote they gave me was $2700 for 3 pieces of furniture, which is more than what I paid to begin with. It cost me $69 to find out it costs more to repair it than to purchase it new. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Furniture Medic came by when the restoration company damaged our furnitures during the packing out/in. They were so professional, efficient and highly skilled in their job. Furniture medic picked up a damaged queen footboard from our home in Granbury. They were very responsive, explained everything and showed up when they said they would. Footboard was repaired in a very satisfactory manner and I would highly recommend them. Very pleased with the workmanship and they finished the repair earlier than expected. They also pick up slightly damaged furniture, take them where they can be repaired, and then the items can be donated for families in need! I love this.
