Lovely wildlife park in a convenient location. It's a little bit better suited for kids, but that didn't stop me enjoying my time there. A good variety of animals and the otters especially seemed to strive off of human interaction. The macaws are also happy to have a chat with you too.

It was a cold day, late autumn. No bustle and no waiting. The bird and butterfly houses are lovely and the butterflies are everywhere!
The small animals were tucked away warm in their burrows (don't blame them) but that wasn't a problem.
I do wish the owls had more space to fly (there is room for larger enclosures), that the parrots who by your description are 'social' and live in groups weren't isolated, and that the Raven an intelligent and wild bird wasn't locked in a small cage.

Been twice before, over the last 20 years or so ago... Similar every time, with the odd change... Absolutely teeming with butterflies this time. Lots to do, not just butterflies. Has a bird house/area too. Birds of prey shows on daily. Nature walk, with dinosaur statues, with plaques. Outdoor play areas. Sand pits. Reasonably priced cafe with hot and cold food. Indoor/Outdoor picnic areas. Not too big, but not small either. Gift shop also, where you can get snacks, drinks and ice creams from... Took my 5 year old nephew this time and he loved it. Not too expensive. Can get a family ticket, with a bit of a discount... Pretty good day out

Love it here 3 hours for my sons 3rd birthday but could have stayed longer. Woodland interactive walk, dinosaurs, butterfly room, bird room, farm animals, exotic animals, big splash park, play park and 3 cafes x we bought the year pass at £68 adult and £58 child

Even though we went on a rainy day, we had the best time! Not only is it a butterfly house but also a zoo and a play park! There's just so much to do and see in such a small place. The staff must be super creative, there are dinosaurs, dragons and crazy scenes all over the place. The cafe isn't expensive and the food and service were amazing. We went with two older children and had an absolutely amazing time. I wish I'd have known about it when mine were younger. Don't forget to visit the play park too.... we nearly missed it (it's behind the Cafe) I would definitely recommend this place.

Great full day out with family aged 2-72 everyone had a fantastic day and there was tonnes to do. The butterfly house was ace, then the tractor ride was enjoyed by everyone, loads of places to stop and sit for a rest and everywhere we went was pushchair and walker friendly. We especially liked the otter enclosure. All the animals looked well cared for, staff were knowledgeable and friendly, food and drinks were fairly priced and there was lots of space for kids to run and explore.

What a fabulous place to visit. Even though the weather was miserable its a great place to visit. The butterfly house is brilliant, much better than others I have visited.

The bonus addition of our visit was Dave the Peacock.

A little gem on a rainy day. Well worth the money!
