Wonderful property as is the norm with district lands. Please bring insect repellent.

I know dog owners hate to hear this but legally you are required to keep your animals leashed at all times while on the property and in public. It’s illegal for them to run after or harass wildlife, that’s one reason for the law and protection of others.

Also don’t litter. I’m tired of cleaning up behind people.

Love the trails but hate the fact that for the nicest weather portions of the year, the place(s) are closed to everyone but hunters. I understand they pay for hunting licences, but hikers, equestrians, cyclists, etc, are excluded from using the area and only hunters can legally be in there. During the extremely hot portion of the year, there is no hunting season, but it can be physically dangerous for hikers to be out in the heat for long.

This place is good fun. Nice and quiet. For some reason there is NEVER anyone here. I've been kayaking here twice and it's been a blast ever since.

The waters are always calm and VERY few motorized boats.

Be sure to check the tides before coming out.

Where is the entrance? Followed Google Maps to Dead End Street with No Trespassing Signs in every direction except the way back out. Bummer!!!
