The Tampa Bay Estuary Program is a tremendous asset in maintaining & improving the waterways of the Tampa Bay region.

Water is not only essential to life, but in Florida it is critical to a healthy economy. So much depends upon the value of clean water.

The TBEP is nationally renown for its successful methods & strategies for improving water quality.

I am grateful for the work that they and their partners perform. The benefits that their efforts yield are making a difference in one of the most valuable resources nature has to offer us.

Tampa Riverwalk Cleanup, a pollution removal advocacy is a beneficiary of a mini grant from Tampa Bay Estuary Program and the Tarpon Tag program that helps fund those grants. This grant paid for emerging contaminant removal from USF Park on the Tampa Riverwalk and other points along the Hillsborough River in downtown. Hundreds of pounds of Emerging contaminants, literally 10’s of thousands of pieces of micro pollution has been removed so far thanks to the equipment provided by this grant. SUPPORT THE TARPON TAG LICENSE PLATE. I can’t say it enough. That money is going directly to grass roots advocacy’s like mine IN THE COMMUNITY.
