I must say I had a lot of reservations hiring a contractor because historically they can be unprofessional but Serrano Renovations quelled all my nerves. They were responsive, communicative and punctual. It took less than 2 weeks from day of hire to complete my shower renovation and they even picked up my tiles from the store as it couldn’t fit in my vehicle. Not to mention the quality of the install of the shower was superb and great attention to detail with the spacing and grouting of the tile. Im pleased with the outcome and will use and recommend them again.

We used Serrano Renovations because they came highly recommended and gave us a fair price.

The PRIMARY scope of work was as follows:
1. remodel kitchen (new cupboards, new granite counter tops and back splash, and install new appliances)
2. Make a window in existing wall from kitchen to hallway
3. Install new Vinyl flooring throughout Condo
4. install old cupboards if possible in laundry room
5. Remove mirror wall, repair, and repaint
6. Install new folding closet door
7. Paint kitchen, wall, baseboards, and balcony (all white)
8. Install new fans in kitchen, family room, and balcony

The work was to be done in February and March, as I was quoted 6 weeks from start to finish.

This is our winter home so we left during the work and came back to Toronto while the work was being done.
Well, every day we knew trades were showing up as the front gate would call us to let in workers.
On a regular basis Serrano called us with an update on progress as well as any queries they had as the work progressed.

We came back after 4 weeks and all I can say is WOW!!! It's one thing to be satisfied with the work and progress, but both my wife and myself were truly AMAZED!!! we were blown away at the quality of the work done so far and the total progress made. We were told 6 weeks, and after 4 weeks they were almost done everything we had asked!!!
They actually finished everything in 5 weeks!!!

We were so comforted along the way that workers were showing up everyday, instructions were being followed as we were not there, and we were provided progress reports and pictures.
I really can't say enough about the experience. It was such a pleasure working with Serrano (Diogo) from start to finish. They did everything they said they would (a bit more :))! It was truly a wonderful experience and we will not hestiate to use them when we are ready to remodel our washrooms.

It took a while for my wife and I to find the right contractor for our Kitchen renovation. This was a big decision for us. We had not previously completed a renovation of this size and wanted to ensure it was done correctly and quickly. We interviewed several contractors and narrowed it down to two. We asked to see previous renovations and were able to visit the homes of two of his clients to see the quality of the work. We also spoke with one couple who shared their positive experiences about working with Dimas. This helped us in choosing Serrano Renovations for our project. Dimas and his team were very professional and responsive to our questions and concerns. We were impressed with the scheduling of the job. The workers showed up when they were supposed to and were courteous and considerate of us and of our home. The initial quote was what we paid. There were no additional fees or hidden costs. In all renovations, there are changes and issues. In our case, we had some concerns with our backsplash tile. Our wall was a bit curved and when we raised this concern, Dimas advised he would correct the issue. He had someone come out the next day to fix the wall. Throughout the project, he kept us up to date and provided timelines that were met. Our project was completed within five weeks. While no one wants to have their home in a state of construction for long, it was worth the wait. When we are ready to do our guest bathroom, we will be calling him again as we are very happy with our new kitchen and floors.

I have worked with Serrano Renovations on three separate occasions and I have to say their professionalism and quality of work is top notch. The first two projects were for laminate floors which turned out beautiful and everyone complemented my house went it was up for sale. The latest project was for ceramic floor and it turned out absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really makes a difference. We thought we found a great renovation company!! Instead we found a crook! He took our 3800.00 deposit and didn’t even attempt to do the work.

We found Demis through Angie’s list. He checked out fine.
But, no work was ever started nor attempted to start.

Save your money Angies list hasn’t encouraged him to return our money either!!

Very disappointing!!

Please read! 9/12/22 Their is not enough good things I can say about Serrano Renovations and Diogo. A Honest, Professional, and Caring company. I found Serrano Renovations on Instagram and reached out. Diogo came out to our home to speak with us for a full kitchen renovation, new floors, popcorn ceiling removal, new painting, bringing walls up to the ceiling, new fans installation, and new lighting and more. Diogo promised our family they would do a great job, and he would be with us every step of the way, and he was! Diogo created a group chat with my wife and I and stayed in constant communication. From April to August Serrano Renovations transformed our house into a home. Diogo went from our contractor to a family friend. I’ve already recommended Diogo and Serrano Renovations to close friends.
