I walked the contractor through the project and discussed each area that needed work. He gave me a verbal price on the spot with the promise of writing up the contract that evening. He requested 10% to hold the appointment so I agreed. When I received the contract that evening only a couple of the items discussed were mentioned in the contract. I expressed my surprise and disappointment and we walked through the project again. We made changes and I agreed to move forward.
In the end, items requested were left unfinished. The price was still high and the quality was low. Payment was structured to be paid 60% 1/3 of the way and 100% before the job was complete. Out of dozens of contractors hired this is the most disappointing experience I’ve had. Thousands of dollars for a few hours of patchy work and a mess left behind to clean up. Including boards with nails facing up in the drive/walkway. A $99 delivery fee added after the quote for a piece of wood paneling..
I could have done a bad job by myself for free!
I had to hire another company to redo/undo the messy work they did.
This company left me with nothing but a gross feeling of being ripped off.

Oleg the owner did a wonderful job. It was done quick at a competitive price. He installed a new bathroom fan. He could not find the exact size but he went out of his way to find one that could be used and guaranteed the look before it was installed. I could not be happier. I will use him again.

Oleg was very helpful fixing a leak I had around a window in my home. They fixed the leak over several days, replaced the dry wall, texture and paint. The final repaired wall looks great. Oleg stayed late one day to finish the project, which I greatly appreciated. Would hire again.

Oleg repaired rotted wood surrounding the outdoor perimeter of my decking. The decking forms a lanai with outer cage attached, so it was a very delicate repair, as the cage structure is secure and in good condition. Decking was pushing outward due to the rot, and I was afraid the entire lanai would fall in a wind storm, as the cage structure was certainly being compromised.

Quality of his work was excellent. I had three bids from handymen. Oleg was not the cheapest nor the most expensive,but was a little north of the middle. I liked him immediately after meeting him. He surveyed the problem, decided the best way to do the work, discussed the details with me and gave me an estimate on the spot - which he stuck to by the way.

The work was tedious. I watched some of it. I’d say the value I got for the priced charged was outstanding. The decking structure should last me a few more years.

Nice job, Oleg and crew. I will be calling him again in the late fall as I’ve a few other handyman projects around the house.
