Boat launch for any great ‘water experience’ on a gorgeous lake.
Look at the water trail here! Great paddling opportunities.

I couldn't give an accurate review due to it being 97°F while I was there with full sunshine. Too hot for me to walk the trail to see if it goes to John's lake or at least have a view of it. They do have a pavilion with picnic tables and a ceiling fan in the center and some more tables in different areas.. Also have a pier to fish from and a boat dock to put a kayak in on the canal leading to the lake. I put a picture up of some of the wildlife you may see there. Would give it 5 stars but I don't recall there being any restrooms there.?

Great park. Always pleasant. The large oaks with the Spanish moss hanging down in the breeze, so good.

Upon entering, you'll pass the firehouse your left and five down a straight dirt path. Parking is to the first right just when the road opens up into a lush forest of trees and grass areas.
The parking has several spots down by the river. So if you are driving a van or a minivan, you be in a van parked down by the van!

Nice place to walk. Go past the wooden fence. There is a break in it for hikers that opens up into a field and continues along a pathway surrendered by marsh grass on each side that goes on a way.

There is a dock and a boatlaunch that you can put a kayak in the water from. Haven't walked any of the trails. There is a pavilion with some tables.

Small quiet park, with a fishing/launching pier, a small gazebo, some scattered picnic tables under massive oaks, and a hiking trail and birdwatching area in the back.
