reading the reviews I guess it depends on the officer you reach.
I had a terrible experience with someone who obviously couldn't care less about wild animals. she was also very rude to me. It would be very easy for them to compile a list of rescues that could help people since they don't always want to. seems like the least they could do!

Had a baby bird fall in my pool. The gal I talked to was wonderful and gave me great advice. I did what she said and put the baby in a shrub (without touching it) and mama bird flew in and checked the baby. I’ll keep watching but I think baby will be just fine. Thank you so much!!!

I wanna express my gratitude and thanks to an officer this weekend that was at rainbow Springs. I apologize I do not have his last name his first name is Wayne.

It’s very rare that you find an officer with this much compassion and friendliness as his was. We all had a couple brief conversations with Mr. Wayne and he was absolutely educational informative and cheerful about helping us with some questions we may have had.

Again it was an absolute great experience making contact with him I should be calling Monday to get some information on how to think him in writing

I have tried to reach out to anyone possible to get help to protect active burrows of gopher turtles, the turtles themselves and possible babies. I did have an agent come out, he was super respectful, but basically the law states any one making a tree farm, doesn't have to worry about the killing, entombing, and crushing of gopher turtles and their homes. How is that even possible? I can not even try to rehome them, because its against the law to touch them...hmmm. Seems to me there are some serious issues with those laws! All I can do is keep trying to reach out for help. SMH.

Called with a question about Gopher Tortoise, not only was the person on the phone rude, but there is nothing they can even do to try to protect the tortoises, some conservation agency this is.
