We received good advice for painting a front door and bathroom wall tiles. This store has quality paint that goes a long way. A small amount covers large surface areas and the paint doesn't smell bad like cheaper options. But box stores also offer high quality paint but you're never going to get quality service as soon as you walk in the door. That's what you get here.

Had a few wonderful experiences with this store with the latest being the most notable. After several terrible experiences with the other BM dealer (near Provincial/Walker area) where I shopped out of mere convenience, I finally had enough and contacted BM head office. They were disappointed to hear about my experiences and Decorating Ideas was recommended instead. Pam from Decorating ideas was wonderful to work with and she happily fixed both of their mistakes. By the way, I have yet to receive any reply from the other store regarding my latest issue and it's been weeks. Oh I can go on and on, but just know that customer service and treating your customers well goes a long way. I would rather give my hard earned money to a small business that appreciates it and treats their customers well. Decorating Ideas now has me as a customer! We absolutely love this store! It's the only place we will go to grab paint! Not just because Benjamin Moore, Farrow and Ball are incredible paint but because of Pam, Josie and Anne!! We take in pictures of our kitchen or living room and just ask them, here's what we are thinking, what would you do? Do you know how amazing it is to have an interior decorator give you free advice! This store is a life hack for every do-it-yourselfer!! Box stores will NEVER be able to compete with this kind of customer service!

Benjamin Moore is a great product and their rep was the best. When there was an issue with the paint colour these guys would not listen and or compromise at all. They were great until there was a problem. I’ll buy the product again for sure just not from decorating ideas.

To start with they are very poor on retail service. We were selling our house and ordered paint.
And spent quite a bit of money by the way. Upon painting we ran short and went back they
Provide us with more. We at that point wanted to finish up when noticed it was not the same
Colour even when it dried. We called them back and even it sent them pictures to show them the
Difference in the shade... and it was nothing but negativity and unwillingness to compensate
in any way. She the woman would not listen or even tried to understand. She was very uninformed
About customer service and how to support customers. VERY VERY sad to say on they’re part.
