A place to learn and relax, to grow plants and find personal growth. The trails are short, invite you to observe nature, and hone your plant ID skills. Several nicely labeled plantings provide ideas for a rain or butterfly garden, or you might apply for a plot in the community garden to grow veggies and exchange tips with local garden club members and master gardeners. Check their website for native plant sales and bring some time to discuss conditions of the area you want to beautify with native plants.
Lot's of things to add but in summary: An excellent, superbly community oriented place that helps newcomers and urbanites to better appreciate the biodiversity of the area.

El lugar es hermoso. Ideal para desconectarse de la vida ajetreada y pasar un tiempo con la naturaleza. El playground está en buen estado para los niños. Los baños estaban limpios en su totalidad. Hay gran variedad de plantas y vegetales sembrados. QUEDAMOS ENCANTADOS.

We had a great time here. There was a lot to see and everything is very beautiful and well kept. It's very peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely come back for a whole day. There's a gazebo, firepit, and playground as well. To use the firepit you have to call. It's a great scenic walk with shade from the trees.

What a beautiful little hidden gem! Just a short trip up 49th St from St. Pete, the beauty of this Preserve awaits you. If you love plants, butterflies, and nature in general, this is for you! Once a month on Saturday, they sell plants. They have a wide assortment of inexpensive plants that you won't find in other places.

This is a unique preserve in Safety Harbor. It has a variety of activities including a community garden , playground, butterfly garden, butterfly labyrinth, a huge Gnome, walking trail, picnic areas and more. Fun just to explore each area in this unique park. There is even a wind phone and many small fairy gardens a gnome areas. Plus as nature preserve there are plenty of areas to learn about butterflies and plants of Florida. A park to enjoy at your leisure.
