I attended camp there for 6 weeks in 1979. I learned so much and matured fast. The counselors would say Your mom doesn't live here so do what i say!!! Lol. Some of the best memories of my life. 3 day camping hikes and canoe trips. It was a lot wilder back in them there days lol. Strongly ? recommend.

Last summer was our first summer at this camp and we will be returning. Both of my kids had a blast, my daughter was nervous when we dropped her off but then didn't want to leave. My son did get home sick about half way through so they let him call me. All around a great experience that my kids are looking forward to next summer.

Outstanding, my last visit was approximately 15 years ago, I attended a Hunter Education course with my youngest child. Now I've have returned providing instruction to a group of Cadets. Although maintaining it's rustic charm, there have been numerous improvements; check it out for yourself.

This FWC camp does an excellent job of nurturing the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. If you are looking for a place where your child will learn about outdoor stewardship this is the place. This is the 3rd year we have attended this camp, and my child wants to be a counselor when she is old enough.

I wish i could do less than 1 star. I took my 10 yo here for 5 days. I specifically told them if he wanted to leave to call me. I did not want him there scared or upset. They kept my son there and denied him access to call me. They told him that he had to stay until Friday and that he wasn't allowed to call his Mom. They had him write me letters they pretended to mail and when asked why he got no response they said I must not have wrote back. My son said he cried at night and they told him to shut up and if not they would give the other campers ear plugs. They listened to my son cry and beg to call me But refused him. Don't send your child here.

this camp has been in my family for a very long time, my grandfather went when it first opened and both of my parents went and they both worked here as well, and actually in two weeks i'm going to go for my 6th year, so I love this camp and the mud hike I amazingly fun.
