I live on a canal and requested the manatee warning dock sign. They sent me a packet with other products that advertise manatee awareness and a hand written note from Eric M. that said they'd send me a dock sign once back in stock. I honestly didn't think I'd get one, but sure enough, I got one in the mail a few weeks later. Thank you for the sign and the hand written note and following up on my request. Very much appreciated so I can display the sign warning others to watch out for these manatees. Thank you

Save the Manatee Club states that their mission is to "protect manatees" but they PROMOTE swimming with wild manatees in Crystal River. Looks like having a table at the yearly Manatee Festival to collect donation money is more important than protecting ALL manatees. They don't advocate for Three Sisters Springs which is the only federal manatee sanctuary being 100% closed to humans in the water (a.k.a. the "swim with manatee" tour businesses) during winter manatee season which runs from Nov 15th - April 1st. Sounds like they are more concerned with fundraising to pay their salaries and not upsetting their country club comrades than protecting and advocating for ALL manatees.

They promote swimming with manatees in Crystal River just so they can get donations from people. Exploiting these wild manatees so they can have a booth at the yearly Manatee Festival is more important than protecting ALL manatees.

I will never help this club the people that works there they are very ignorant and don't know how to treat people all they do is disrespect donors they steal money from workers if they own money to them they stay with it and that's wrong and that is that I never will help this club they are crooks
