Horrible company to do your Roof!! Do Not have them do your Roof!! They will slap on tar to "repair" things leave loose screws up and do a Very Sloppy job!! New house for a month and leaking already from roof, runed my house all over. Soft spots throughout my roof and bent pieces of metal and it's already rusting. Horrible company!!!

1-star is a generous rating overstatement for this company, but zero or negative stars wasn't an option. I made the mistake of buying a new construction home built by Malphus & Son because I love supporting local businesses and I wanted the new construction warranty benefits they included in the contract. It's been over a year and I have sent no less than 2 dozen communications to the contractor requesting they remedy the post-closing blue-tape and warranty items - and yet they still have not addressed them entirely. The owner is relatively responsive but has horrible follow-thru and doesn't seem to use reliable subcontractors or have a good relationship with the subcontractors that he uses. All I know is that I have had to beg for the last year to get things fixed and now I'm at the level of threatening legal action and he still doesn't seem concerned. I will say, my home is beautiful and the 3rd party (unbiased) inspector told me it was a well built home. There weren't a lot of blue-tape items and I have taken care of a most of them myself since it was just easier than getting the unresponsive builder to honor their warranty. I truly do hate leaving bad reviews and will gladly update this one should things change or once the builder resolves the outstanding issues.

I recently had construction work done on my home, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The craftsmanship displayed by the team was exceptional—every detail was meticulously handled. The professionalism exhibited throughout the project was noteworthy, and the crew consistently maintained a clean and organized workspace. The project was completed within the agreed-upon timeline, and communication from start to finish was clear and transparent. Any challenges that arose were promptly addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. Overall, I highly recommend Wilbert Jr from MALPHUS & Son for their excellent work, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. My home now looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Horrible experience and wish we would have never hired this contractor. Two and a half years later permit has not been closed, and it has failed inspection. Caused massive amounts of water damage due to horrible craftsmanship and cannot get them to come back out to fix all the issues that failed inspection. Had to get the State of Florida business regulation Department involved and the Attorney General's office. Also noticed in their reviews several of the reviews are salesmen that work for this contractor. Russell Ash was the salesman and he is known for screwing people over. Do your homework before hiring this contractor

My mobile home was in shambles from the Hurricane. Malphus & Son came in (Tom and Jacob) and helped me get my place back up to par and even better than before! All new beautiful vinyl flooring throughout my home, new shingle roof, new lanai roof, drywall work on my ceilings and MUCH MORE. Every time I had questions they were quick to answer. I highly recommend this company for all your mobile home needs.

This company should be avoided at all costs. Between the months of May and August they charged our elderly relative $15, 854 to "seal and repair" a roof that was already 14 years old. When we found out about this we initiated conversations with them to try and get her money back for the unbelievably awful work they did. We had an independent contractor visit the property and he provided us with over 90 photographs of unfinished or poor workmanship. They have lied to the BBB about what they say they have done to mitigate this and they will lie to you too. Tommy and Kenny are big believers is high pressure sales, intimidation and fear tactics. It is our belief Tommy rolled out from the now defunct M&S Contractors and pulled his "client" list along with him. Continuing the disgusting habit of taking advantage of the disadvantaged. Stay far away from the company - and if you have information that can help us with our fight, or want to add your name to our cause, please contact me.

We contacted Malphus and Sons when we realized we needed a new roof for our investment property. They completed the roof in 2 days and it passed inspection with flying colors! We had no issues. They were a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely be using them in the future.

My parents used this company and their whole front of the house is leaking! They are 91 and 85. They have been trying to get them to come out and fix the problem to no avail. It's a shame when companies take advantage of the elderly.
