WOW! And not in a good way. If you enjoy working with a contentious owner, then shop at Floor Coverings International. While the ownercame out and measure for the job, she did not order two door thresholds nor trim for the master bath. The awesome installers came back to finish the job, but were only sent with one of the missing thresholds. The owner explained to me that she would order at HER expense! Gee thanks. There are two unopened boxes of flooring (50 pounds each) sitting in the middle of my kitchen, she will not take back. I had to hire a plumber to reinstall the toilet after the floors were laid. (She forgot to mention that would be at my expense too). The job was completed on Friday 8/23, and she’s harassed me 4 times for payment, today is 8/29. Start to finish I would NOT recommend this company. Thankful they had awesome installers who did an excellent job and my floors look beautiful. No thanks to “Karen” the owner.

I replaced the old carpeting in my master bedroom and closet with vinyl flooring. I wish I had done it much sooner because it looks amazing. They sent someone to my house to look at samples of the product, and within a week they started. They completed the job in one day! I am so happy with the results and would recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone.

When living in a condominium it is very important to use vendors who respect and abide by the rules and regulations of the association. Our plan was to remodel our 2 baths as well as paint and place new flooring in the main living area. Lee at FCI came highly recommended for remodels in our community, so I contacted her to discuss our thoughts. We had a terrific initial meeting and before I knew it, she prepared an estimate, schedule and appointment to begin making selections at her showroom. There was no waisted motion with FCI. Everything was well organized and we were able to choose perfect materials to fulfill our vision.
Work began almost immediately and the subcontractors were timely and cleaned up after themselves each day... oh, and they did excellent work. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the end result. I recommend Lee and Floor Coverings International of St Petersburg wholeheartedly.

These folks installed manufactured hardwood floors in my 100 yr old cottage (part of a renovation). The subfloor in my place provided quite a challenge (very uneven), but these folks handled it with aplomb. Bravo!

They will be back for a 2nd phase of install, as there is more reno to be done, but very happy with what they've done to date. The floors look fabulous!

I highly recommend Floor Cov. Int'l for any flooring job you may have - easy or complicated.
