Worst customer service ever. Tried to get a repair done since February. It would have been the 3rd time repairing? called Trinity Stones which came the next day and repaired. I highly recommend Edward at Trinity Stones❣️

These folks came highly recommended and we were all excited about placing an order and having all our kitchen counter tops and our bar counter for the upcoming new year. An appointment was made that day for the upcoming Tuesday to have them come out and measure for a quote.

While we were there we picked out some stones to be cut , beveled and finished for two small counter tops for my mom's kitchen island. We were told that it would take a week and we could pick them up for $485 next Thursday or Friday and it would cost an additional $200 if they were to be delivered. We decided to come pick them up.

Our anticipation for getting all of this done was something we waited years to accomplish. The owner talked us out of putting the order on a credit card as it would cost more and we took his advice.

Unfortunately they never kept their appointment and the following Thursday and Friday came and went. Bottom line is they never produced the pieces we ordered for my mom's small counter tops.

We were very disappointed and we drove the samples back to find out that the owner was smug and rude and told us he never promised us a date to have the pieces done for my mom?

I'm not going to argue with someone that is a liar and never showed up for an appointment to do our our kitchen quote.

We left aggravated and frustrated because it was totally opposite of how we were treated the week prior and thought long and hard before posting this review.

We like doing business with the local businesses and found several other stone companies that are coming out to quote us.

The experience was so bad that even Home Depot turned out to have a better follow up. We are still in the decision making process and open for other recommendations.

The reason we gave this review a One-Star is because Zero-Stars was unavailable.

Had appointment between 10 am and 11 am. Got a phone call at 10am "on my way" I live 15 mins away. 10:50 called the shop, shop replied on the way. Called again at 11:30 am again on the way.
Yeah no thanks.
If you can't show up for a estimate , I am good.

Countertops ordered and a date scheduled for install. Sales rep I dealt with as well as the individual that came to measure for template was told there was a cooktop going in island did they need measurements to cut island counter before install, I was told they didn't need it. The installers show up to a completed fully furnished home with no means to cover ANYTHING only to be told by installers that they have to cut cooktop opening into countertop INSIDE the house. Of course because we were never told ahead of time that they would need to do this, I asked installers to make sure (brand new) furniture & fixtures were covered and they said they would use cardboard on site because they didn't have anything else to use. I went back to work, returned about an hour later to find the ENTIRE house covered in white dust from them cutting countertops in the house and installers made no attempt to cover ANYTHING. I called sales rep who was unavailable only to speak with Daniel who was very rude and unprofessional - he came to house and basically shrugged it off and said it was my responsibility to cover furniture and that its standard practice to cut the material IN THE HOUSE and not their responsibility to cover furniture, etc. He agreed to pay to have the house and furniture cleaned at his expense. He said it was going to take 4-5 days to have the house cleaned - I ended up finding a cleaning crew to come in on my own and do a thorough cleaning within a day. The unprofessionalism from the install crew and the unprofessional rudeness from Daniel will be the reason I will NEVER use them again nor would I recommend them for countertops. To top it off they sent a NOTICE OF INTENT TO LIEN my house even though they were paid the balance by check and cashed it. RESPONSE TO COMPANY- YOU COVERED NOTHING - a copy of receipt for cleaning has been emailed to you with no response as to -0- balance owed to you. CONTINUED POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - would not recommend.

In my opinion the following took place: Placed an order with the owner J C for granite counters, gave me a fair price. Paid deposit, they did the template I called 1 day prior to install and was asked if I had removed the cabinets that were resting on the counters (3) I said that was never discussed at that point he blew up started yelling and stated that was the deal. I know misunderstandings can happen , that’s why i have it In writing. * Why would I use a kitchen / counter company if I was going to have to remove anything.

I saw where this was going ( price change) after he stated that now I would have to pay in full prior to any install. That really concerned me !! I said just refund my money he stated no refunds.

If you only remember one thing In my review, we had a written agreement that he breached and will not honor. I have instructed my attorney to file suit hopefully he can understand that.

I hope my review will save someone else from dealing with this company.

My opinion : Very poor businessman I wouldn’t recommend anyone use them.

Professionals! Knowledgeable . Experienced. Lots of product to see and to choose from. Very accommodating and patient. Our representative is JC of American Kitchens and Stone, he was quick to respond to my verbal and written questions. We ordered Cambria quartz and a kitchen sink by Karran. I just had my kitchen remodeled by American Kitchen & Stones and I am very pleased. I had a very small kitchen and they designed my kitchen to include extra cabinets and it has made a world of difference. They were on time for every timeline and some were earlier than expected. Tom was a great Project Manager and saw it through to completion. JC also knows his stone very well and made some great changes and we are so happy with the final product. We have beautiful white liberty shaker cabinets with granite countertops and a great stone backsplash that we love. You will make a very good decision if you go with American Kitchen and Stone in Port St Lucie, FL.
