What an incredible and unique burger spot! My wife and I stopped by after house hunting in the area and were pleasantly surprised to find this charming ‘small town’ burger restaurant. We decided to try the German Burger from their impressive selection of specialty options, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The flavors were outstanding—something I never imagined could taste so good. It’s clear they take great pride in their food. Highly recommended. Make sure to try their seasoned fries too!

This is a cute little place that I have never noticed before this visit. Shared a burger with my husband and it was really good. We didn't get a specialty burger, just a custom one with basic ingredients. You order at the register then sit/wait for your meal. Definitely visiting again soon! The restaurant is very small but I actually love that & service was excellent! We arrived with a lot of kids and she was very patient and friendly with everyone! ❤️

This was our first visit to Wells Cattle Co since moving to the area. Extremely satisfied with the experience and burgers were amazing!

I had the Western Burger which had their own homemade BBQ sauce and jalapeños - the best part was the fact that they had the perfect amount of sauce to avoid a giant mess while still having enough to get the flavor which is the most important part, this stood out in a world of “sloppy” burgers. German Burger my wife got had sauerkraut and spicy mustard and I stole a bite, really good but not my normal cup of tea. Fries were also amazing and although they had spicy and normal ketchup neither were needed and I found them to actually be better without any condiments.

Don’t hesitate to try this place, Mamma Judy took our order and she was very nice and gave us suggestions of what was most popular. Server was also extremely nice and the atmosphere was quaint and quiet which was perfect after the Black Friday fiasco of the morning.

This place is easily the best burger place I've been to in the state of Texas! Spoke the the owner Lee himself. All of their meat is from their family ranch near by, and truly farm to table. The restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of rockwall. It's a cozy atmosphere. Prices are great for what you get. The logo on the buns is a cute touch. The burgers taste great. Lots of options plenty of merchandise available! He's even written his own book! It's a true local family business!

Upon arrival we waited in a short line order and were promptly seated. There were plenty of open tables. I ordered 4 burger combos and a kids grilled cheese. Spent somewhere around $75. We waited over an hour with a 3yr old to eat. Over an hour for a cheeseburger. I wish I would’ve been informed of that kind of wait before ordering. Instead I was told jokingly that I’m required to purchase one of their “make burgers great again” hats. I wish they followed their that mantra because the burgers were mediocre at best. Lightly seasoned if at all and the fries were cold and slightly limp. The brussel sprouts were extra extra crispy though. So much so they were almost unidentifiable. The trash was overflowing and buzzing with flies when we sat down. It was so bad one of the customers seated near it offered to empty it for them. I do not recommend and will not be returning.

I ordered the vegan burger, and it was pretty dern good! Loved the fries as well!! The peach cobbler & the keto cheesecake (not pic'd)... not so much. 😕

Also, my best friend didn't like her burger and requested it be swapped out with the BBQ burger. The regular burger just didn't have much flavor & was pretty bland. That being said, it was kind of a tussle to get that replacement, which I particularly didn't like how she handled it. It was the older lady taking the orders. I work in hospitality part-time, and from time to time, a customer's request to swap out an item is expected. Most of the time, it's a reasonable request, so you swap it out and send the customer on their way. Her response was a little condescending, but she went ahead and had the kitchen re-make the burger. My best friend enjoyed the BBQ much better. It had way more flavor than the regular burger! I was looking fwd to coming back, but that def made me rethink another visit.

Restaurant is in a former residential house. Additional parking across the street at the bank. To order, you go through the first room. Tip: The menu on the tv is just a portion of the menu. Be sure to get the printed menu to seek ALL the burgers and hotdogs available.

Good: hotdogs are made from locally raised Wagyu beef. The green chili hotdog was about 5-6” long and had cheese, fresh onions, and green chilies. I added grilled onion for no cost. In fact, you can add some veggies at no cost — see the menu on the tvs. Their coconut pie was much better than other restaurants’ coconut cream pie. Wells coconut pie use meringue instead of whipped cream and their filling had more coconut. This dessert is a must for coconut cream pie fans. We also had a couple of other burgers — chorizo burger and gold rush that the kids seemed to like. The keto cheese chips were unique and everyone enjoyed it.

To improve: It took a little longer to get our food. The restaurant was a little less than halfway full and we arrived about 11:45. We also ordered the German burger— the bun, beef patty, and bacon were dry.

Bad: the bathroom is a single room with single toilet as one room. The bathroom door has a large window on the top half which they put a frosted sticker on. However you can still make out shape and colors. As you stand in line, you can also see through the clear glass into then bathroom between the edge and the frosted sticker.

Food is good, fries are good . We did not try the hotdogs yet. The peach cobbler with ice cream is the best part of the meal we had . Must try when you visit there.
