with their unwavering support of P2014, The Nature Conservancy of Western NY has thrown in with the other misguided environmentalists while thousands of acres of usable wetlands have been destroyed by the out of control Lake level. Homes, cottages, businesses have been adversely effected twice in 3 years. While they blame it on climate change/precipitation amounts, the fact is that the IJC's mismanagement of the late winter lake levels will force this flooding on the entire Lake Ontario/ St. Lawrence watershed forever...

They pretend to care about saving the environment but are only really about lining their own pockets. Salaries gobble up the majority of their donations, little is left to be spent actually making a difference. They are infested with corporate greed, where their never ending support of Plan 2014 favors shipping and hydro interests over the environment . The Nature Conservancy is responsible for one of the biggest manmade environmental disasters ever to hit Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River. They are scammers!!!

A record amount of water is flowing through the great lakes. To blame the high waters on TNC is a bit misguided. Where would you like the trillions of tons of extra water to go? The staff I've met are compassionate people facing difficult challenges. Not easy letting a lake be a lake is it?

It’s deeply saddening to see this organization support Failed Plan 2014. The shores of Lake Ontario have been decimated by intentional flooding. The nature conservancy backs the lies told by the IJC and refuses fight for the environment that is being permanently destroyed and lost as a result.
