They have a great communication set up. Easy to use and very efficient. I entered my job requests and a video of each. Ruben was able to view this before setting up a scheduled phone call. Then an appointment for job was sent to me. They arrived at appointment time and were extremely polite and professional. They started right away and asked me for my input when there were options. I appreciated that very much. The completed projects were done in a timely manner and the workmanship was excellent. Will definitely call him again if I need other things done around my home. It’s great to support a local business that provides quality service with integrity plus quality! Ruben’s Home Service (RHS ), with their years of experience in our area, benefits us as customers because they have gained experience, knowledge & valuable networking with other businesses (subcontractors & fellow construction-type companies) in jobs, small to large.
Initially, I was referred to RHS by a neighbor -a longtime, happy customer- to install a roller shade for my west facing entry door that was was so hot in Valley heat, I could barely touch the handle! RHS’ work was excellent & discreet so the shade is only visible when down & in use, so as not to mar the aesthetics of my house from the street.
After that, I hired RHS to install a security screen on my garage so my pet could see outside yet be secure. He framed my stucco walls to get support as well as produce a visually appealing look, including painting & hardware.
My final project for RHS, was to create an interior door for a guest bedroom into the back hallway for easier access to the bathroom. He created the opening & matched existing doors,mouldings, hardware, drywall & paint! It’s so perfect, you don’t know it wasn’t part of the initial home design!
RHS overall is 5 stars plus!! They are the FIRST company I call for home care needs listed on their website! Oh, and Ruben is, simply said, A Nice Guy!

Ruben's completed a walk-in shower remodel for us and their work was excellent and very professionally done. We asked them to remove the two side walls and header in hopes of trying to open up our shower and make it brighter, along with rebuilding the subfloor and installing a new shower valve and head. Little did we know, upon removing the tile, there was major water damage accumulated from many years of water leakage. Gene and his staff completely rebuilt the wall framing and the floor and insulated the walls. We had a separate tile contractor put in the tile. The end product exceeded all our expectations. We appreciate that he & his staff were able to do it all, no matter the extent of the damage!

Reuben and his co worker did a great job remove and replace two ceiling fans with two switches, fans are working great. They were on time and cleaned up after the job was completed. Would use him again.
