A very poor job by these state employees. It’s a true embarrassment to the state of Pennsylvania. Glad I call Tennessee home, I won’t be back. As a tourist, I’d recommend every state before you visit Pennsylvania.

I was warned by a DNR officer today not to stand on a certain rock below the Adam T Bower dam... he explained that the rock was in the waterway and we can't be in the waterway above the white buoys. The rock in question is on the bank, dry on 3 sides and on top....not surrounded by water & not in the waterway. It sticks out about 18" further off the bank, thats it. That guy was obviously bored and simply wanted to micromanage someone that day....so why not me as i fish with my 15 year old son, right? I wish i got his name...because he needs to find something else to do, something constructive like watching people from a distance to catch them littering....i pick up a grocery sack of trash every single time i go there..... but standing on a rock is the focus? Really? I wish i could include a photo here of said rock to confirm just how ridiculous that warning was.....absolute stupidity and another reason the reviews foe the DNR are so low.

State forests is no longer free to use and camp on. Shame just another government bureaucracy bending the people over. Why I went there cause there was no price of admission!
