Nous avons rencontré John et sa femme par hasard sur le petit marché artisanal de Paimpont. Impressionnés par ses sculptures
nous lui avons commandé un arbre de vie. Après une petite semaine celui-ci fût prêt. On avait un peu le trac car on avait bien regardé quelques photos et dessins ensemble, on avait discuté de ce que l'on voulait, mais on ne savait pas vraiment à quoi s'attendre. Le résultat était tout à fait à la hauteur de nos espérances : l'arbre que John nous a sculpté est exactement ce que nous voulions. Il trône désormais sur notre cheminée et a déjà fait beaucoup de jaloux. Nous il nous rappelle chaque fois nos vacances et notre rencontre avec ce sympathique artisan aux mains d'or. A recommander les yeux fermés !
