This is my favorite place to get a good walk/run in. The views are Absolutely breathtaking!!!! They have a very large bark park one side is for small dogs and the other is for large breeds. Plenty of room for your furry friend to run and play with other dog's. You can also fish here in many different spots. I will most definitely be back time and time again ☺️

Great area to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Be advised that dogs are NOT allowed on the walk way around the lake.

Childrens playground was clean and well let with no signs of cigarettes butts or graffiti. Test rooms were clean for public restrooms in a park.

Other than being a great walking trail, this park has a wonderful? DOG PARK!?. Well kept and spacious. Lots of trees in the center and lots of open grass area for human/pup interaction. It is divided into large and small dog areas, big plus. Water is supplied in each area (very muddy around the cement slab after it rains so take towels or blanket to protect your car). The tall fence looks new and very secure no holes for escape. There is a main entrance with double gates to unleash before they enter the park. The three larger gates for the mowers are chained and locked, another big plus. If you are planning on hanging around while your pups play, take a seat because the only benches available are outside the fence. Love this place! It is a hidden treasure!

I was over the moon last year when I found out about the Dog Park. Initially, there were no benches inside to sit on while the furbabies played, but now there is. They also designated a side for large dog and the other for small dogs.

The website I visited is wrong about the entrances. The entrance on 11th St is not marked but there is an obvious prking area. The entrance shown as being on 6th St is really a dead end with no place to park. The best place to start is Gadsden mall.near an Italian restaurant. The boardwalks were fun but little wildlife was seen and the trail on the island was still very wet and muddy.
