The staff needs some training. Was in the store for half hour with my elderly mother, made eye contact with the woman a couple times she looked away didn't acknowlege us, didn't talk to us, even on the way out. Don't waste your time here.

This place was highly recommended to us for fireplace stone. At the showroom, an employee informed us that the stone we wanted to purchase was from Spain and the most expensive stone they had in stock. We spent over $2,000 and were informed this was a final sale with no returns. Upon pickup, we noticed that all boxes / packages had a "Crafted in China" label and when we called the place to confirm, we were told that it was sourced in China but assembled in Spain and that they were going to email us a certification. We never received a certification and after multiple follow up with this sales person Annie, we were simply ignored for over a month after being told that the product was a final sale. Additionally, the sample we were given was extremely off in color and none of the pieces we bought resembled it at all. Also, we were informed that the corner pieces would be one piece that wraps around, but they were actually separate pieces, which ended up costing more in labor.

After one last time of follow up after one month and receiving more pushback, we were told that there are no certifications for stone material. We were told this was a "he said, she said" scenario and that they couldn't prove what had happened although it was confirmed on this call that they were aware of our situation, yet still never bothered to take care of the issue after multiple follow up calls.

As the stone was installed since we were told it was not available to be refunded or returned, we suddenly were offered the option to refund it after one 4-6 weeks of back and forth. All in all, we were not able to do so as it had already been installed. This item was falsely advertised as a European product, charging premium pricing, and then giving us the runaround for over one month. Very unfriendly customer service considering it was completely their fault. This was definitely our first and last purchase from this place.

Very unhappy with the product support by Genesee and the tile installer that bought the Grout Once product from them. Grout started staining weeks after install which was almost a year ago now. The communication with tile installer has been okay, but says Genesee should handle the warranty side but has yet to ever do anything about. Not even responded to our complaint. As the seller of the product they should handle the warranty claim but are not standing behind the products they sell. Would highly discourage anyone from using them. We are left to leaving reviews to try and get a resolution.

One of the best tile shop in the metro Detroit area. They have an expansive selection of European designer's tile at a good price. Good people and great customer service. Anney at sales and Tom in the warehouse are always on top of things. Such a great company!

10/25/17, I was just in here at noon. I was assisted by 2 of the nicest gentlemen. They had most of what I needed in stock and will have the rest for me tomorrow. I don't remember the last time that I received GREAT, patient customer service, accompanied by pleasant conversation. I'll be checking here FIRST, for all future tile needs. Do yourself a favor, shop here FIRST!

Outstanding service! They matched tile to what we already had existing, were very competitive on pricing, and shipped from other locations to make it easy for us to pick everything up.
