Great place. Quiet and plenty of tree cover out of the sun. Went on a Sunday and only seen one other person. Seen 2 deer on power line path near Econlahatchee river. Also seen a turkey and huge gopher tortoise.

I go hiking here everyother week or with my dog. Great area and interesting hike. Love seeing the tortises in warmer times. It's not blazed terrbily well, and the buldozing for the recent fire damage makes telling the difference between trail and access road a bit hard if you are not familar. The parking lot is a bit rough, take care if your car is lower to the ground.

There's a wander to a lovely river. There are short walks in the near vicinity to the parking lot with lovely trees, wildflowers and tortoises (be aware that that these guys dig fairly intense burrows, so if you are in the woods off the path, keep an eye out for them lest you get your foot trapped in one). You can spend as little or as much time wandering through different environments. Dogs on a leash have a ball.

If you like the adventure, this is the right place to explore the trails, is quiet and you can see lots of turtles in the rute. Better to go when is good weather because there isn't shelter. No restrooms. Free parking. Pet friendly. Great for hiking, bicycling and horseback riding.

Great trail to walk, run, or bike...not to many people here and once you get past the powerlines it's really peaceful and quiet...There are 3 different trails here to explore.. Red..Blue..and Yellow. They are all marked throughout the paths. We really enjoyed it with it being our first time here and we'll definitely be going back!!

Beautiful place to walk around and get away for a bit. A few short and longer trails available. Plenty of room to make you feel alone, even when the lot is full.

I really like this trail. It's well marked and nice scenery. It's all natural, don't expect to see benches, picnic tables, etc. Saw people with dogs on leashes. T

This was a great little hiking place and it's dog friendly. Dogs must remain on leash but my dog enjoyed it anyway. We rarely ran into other people which was nice. Though you could hear the traffic from the surrounding roads no matter where you were along the trail. Be warned the map at the beginning seems out of date as there were more trails than what showered on the map, all marked. The website also does not work. The parking lot is very sandy and I was afraid of getting stuck in my small little car. Highly recommend for a few hour hike with dog.
