Update: They did reach out to help me with the issue with the bottom of my cabinet coming off. At the end of day, I added L-brackets to the bottom of the cabinet. They did offer to help me add another shelf to the bottom to reinforce it, but I’d rather see how the L-brackets work for now.

I updated my review to 3 stars: I took off one star for the initial ordering issues and one for the cabinet bottom, since it should not have happened to begin with. But I appreciate that they followed up to try to help.

Where to even start…I ordered 4 new kitchen top cabinets from East Star. When the cabinets arrived, there were several missing parts (I was missing several shelves and got no shelf pins), and some of the details we had discussed were not delivered on. Luckily my contractor was able to work around them.

I’ve now had the cabinets for 6 months, and just noticed that the bottom of one of the cabinets is coming off!! All I have in there are plates and bowls…you know, the normal things you put into kitchen cabinets I reached out to East Star and we’ll see if they actually respond, but I would definitely not recommend them. If you can’t store plates and bowls in your cabinets, then what is the point

In hindsight, you get what you pay for and I regret going with East Star.

Great wholesaler. Prices are great. Service is good. I have been dealing with them for many many years and never had a problem. Enough selection of standard cabinets, vanities, tiles, flooring and accessories.

Honestly pretty bad experience overall.

East Star has a good selection but their return and exchange policies are the worst compared to other places and retail stores.

Purchased a shower door and were told by sales the color of the shower would be the same. But when we opened it, the side and handles are different color! Initially they didn't even offer an exchange even if the item was un-opened. After telling them, this is misleading the consumer, they reluctantly offered an exchange.

Also, most of the staff is pretty impatient and rude. For example, I wanted to get pricing on facets since it was not displayed. The sales associate told not to worry about the price and just select a style...

Guess the price is cheap so you get what you paid for.

Huge selection in a large showroom with mostly finish materials for kitchens and bathrooms such as solid surface countertops, sinks, toilets, faucets, etc. Prices seem lower than other similar stores and definitely cheaper than big box stores. There are a lot of staff available, and they are very helpful with basic design questions. You can ask them for install services, but that labor seemed expensive. Overall highly recommend.

Have patience here, but the staff is helpful. Long wait times, but worth it in the end. They do custom cabinets for most bathroom designs. Some high end toilets and fixtures like Toto or Hansgrohe. Nice mable and vinyl tile selections. I personally liked working with Forrest. He speaks the clearest English (but Chinese as well). You actually can get a better deal and quality here that your average box store like Homedepot for example. They have parking thank God cause it's not the best neighborhood to be in.

Back splash broke when loading, cheap material. Broke when being secure they refuse to exchange piece. Be careful check everything before signing that material was received . Once sign they don't care if is broken.

This place has so.many, well priced but higher end, kitchen, bathroom, and similar things for your home. Great help from the people working there.
