My aunt and I came here for the first time today and the coffee was great. Elizabeth makes an amazing caramel macchiato! I can’t believe she runs that place solo. She even came around and checked in on how we were doing and brought us ice water. Super friendly!

The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The coffee was the best I've had in quite a while. And the service was outstanding. The owner is super friendly and hard working. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.

Lovely, charming locally owned cafe with excellent sandwiches. Not the place if you are in a hurry - the owner makes everything herself, and it’s delicious. I loved my gluten free sandwich - not dry at all like most places - and my spouse loved his. Great place to sit on the patio and enjoy Langford.

The amazing owner and sole worker of this lovely cafe should be experienced by anyone who is in the area. Not only are her coffee, sandwiches and sweets she makes daily by herself made with love, her incredible aura and personality will keep you coming back for more. Come to Dagwoods Cafe. The chicken sandwiches were SO GOOD! I keep thinking about how tasty they were.
I had chipotle chicken, wife had pesto chicken, and a latte.
The owner was so nice and also funny.
Btw.. was in the store while the last reviewer was, and it was him that was impatient and rude lol. Owner said she’d be with him in a sec while she was making my wife’s latte.. guy couldn’t wait ten seconds and left 😂
Anyways, we’ll gladly return here, and way prefer to support a small local business over a chain store any day 😁

I had to come read the reviews after having walked into this place (and immediately back out) and wasn't surprised to find reviews about the hostility. I didn't even get to try the wonderful looking food and I was hungry. The instant hostile vibe made me leave in less than 30 seconds.

Awesome place. Super glad I came here. Had the pesto chicken sandwich, very tasty, chicken was moist and well made, mom had the breakfast sandwich all priced very reasonably for portion and quality. My new fav sandwich shop in the area 🙂

One woman pop, small business— service was quick and you can tell Elizabeth takes pride in her business.

Will be here often whenever I visit! 🙂

If you are looking to support a small Canadian business, this is it. The food is great, and the owner is lovely. And if you have a furry friend, they can hang out with you on the patio while you enjoy your coffee and the sunshine.
