This book store is INCREDIBLE!! We randomly came across it, thank goodness we went in. We chatted with the owner for a long time - he is so knowledgeable. He’s been in the business since he was 10yrs old. He had every booked we could come up with. Fantastic store. Make sure to stop in.

My absolute favourite used bookstore! Amazing selections, super well organized, and quite a large store once inside. Staff is also super friendly and they have a great trade in program. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again!

What an absolute gem! The selection is absolutely fantastic! But the staff, especially Mark were what made the place so wonderful!!! It was evident that Mark was incredibly passionate about comics and general nerd culture. He knew his stuff and was always willing to help and answer my many questions, haha. What a kind man! People like him make the world brighter! Thank you Mark! Give this man a raise!!!!!

A treasure trove! I hadn’t visited Coombes before, and was just checking things out.

The comic shop practically next door as a disappointment, the one staff member there couldn’t even be bothered to google the title I was looking for to see who published it so they could point to where it would be if they had it. (No, I don’t have a cellphone. It’s not worth it if I only need it once or twice a year.)

This bookshop though! It may not be totally organized but they make the attempt! And any title that popped into my head the proprietor put down what they were doing, looked it up, and pointed to where it would be if they had it! What more can you asked of a used bookstore!?

I may not have found everything I was specifically looking for, but I found a number of novels by old favourites, and a bunch of titles I had stopped looking for after years of searching.

If I lived near there you’d find me volunteering once a week at the least, just so I could happily organize everything they have, and get the chance for first dibs 😉

As it is, I’m going to make the trip when I can just to see what they might have acquired.
