The park itself is a large field with a few old growth trees and many newly planted ones. It has picnic tables and garbage pails available, as well as a brick building to house washroom facilities. The park was well maintained and the grass was cut short. Parking was at the front of the park, with the washrooms located at the other side near the lake. It will take 5 min to walk across the park. There are no playground facilities here as it is a conservation area. The beach is accessible from a pathway that leads down a steep bank. It is not suitable to use if you have any kind of mobility issues. I took a small wagon down to the beach loaded with picnic items and it was very difficult to bring it back up the hill. The beach itself was wonderful! Clean with soft sand, with some stones along the edge to make it interesting. Colorful pebbles and some very interesting fossils were seen here. There was no fee to get into the park which was a bonus. It would have been nice if there was a parking area closer to the lake or at least a pathway to make pulling a wagon with picnic items easier. Overall, a great memorable day!

No much to this place. A spot to have a picnic and for kids to run around. Vista of the lake. Could be very buggy in spring as there is lots of water. Not able to drive in gate closed. Parked and walked in.

Fairly quiet (when we were there) beach and Conservation Area on Lake Huron. The beach isn't really wide, due to high water levels this year, but certainly good enough to sit for a few hours and to swim. The Conservation Area is large enough that you aren't likely to interfere with others who are using it. It's basically a large field with trees - lots of room for picnics, games, etc. Washrooms are clean - also suitable to get changed.

My son loves the beach here. The beach is vast and extends really far. It's always quiet and peaceful. Lots of things to collect. Beach glass, fossils, bugs, and shells. Perfect for kids.

Great to have access to water and a clean washroom. Trail to the beach was quite slippery since it rained this morning. Beach is wider this year. So beautiful!
