My child can’t wait to go back for a third year in a row! She loves the outdoor adventure as well as the great group of kids and fun guides that return every year. She always returns more self aware and confident in who she is
Thank you !

We did the Bald Eagle class for homeschoolers and it was awesome. The two ladies that lead the class were great with all the kiddos. We ended up seeing over 20 eagles. Even though the morning started out extremely cold, my kiddos had an amazing time.

Was peaceful. I was looking or information on hours. Could not find anything on the boards. Wear long sleeves and pants if mosquitoes like you. They were all over me, but next time I will be prepared. Saw an ? flying to its nest/home, breath taking. Love birds and seeing them in their natural habitat is wonderful. The little prairie dogs are adorable. I know some view them as a pest, but they have as much right as we do to be here. They play an important role in the life cycle. The prey birds use them as a food source as do other animals. Hopefully, I don't witness them being taken, I have a soft spot for all creatures.. being in nature helps with some of my anxiety. It's calming.

This is an unfortunate review as I have enjoyed this place for awhile as an Adams County resident. However, now they charge $6 to watch and visit the banding station. This was never the case before and as a kid the banding station is partly what got me interested in birds. I understand during Covid you had to register as a visitor. Managing visitor numbers is perfectly fine. However, even after nearly 600k in funding from Adams County in 2022 they are going to charge? I appreciate the bird conservation work and have even been part of it. But being asked to pay just to watch is really silly. Especially when it wasn’t busy and $6 is way to high when you want to watch briefly. An optional donation makes way more sense and hopefully they change this policy. This used to be a great outreach tool for introducing people to birds for free.

Went as a school field trip for 1st graders. Was a pretty good experience. Staff are all volunteers and kept the kids busy for a good 2 hrs. Really enjoyed our day learning about and seeing birds.

I love and support what they do in terms of conservation but we love what they do with education. The homeschool programs are fantastic, well designed and informative. They are able to teach to a wide variety of ages and the kids have a great time.
