Ok this review is long overdue! Last fall I had started to look for quotes for my kitchen remodel. I got two and one day I happened to get food at the restaurant next door and looked up and saw Henry’s place. I went in to inquire about prices and see if he would even do a small kitchen. He was absolutely lovely. He was patient and kind. He came the next day to take measurements and sent me a quote within a couple days. Price was similar to my other quotes but I’m going to be completely honest, I would have paid him more. He has so much experience. He will be completely honest with you and help you through the entire process. He’s very responsive to text and email. His contractors are awesome. So professional and take so much care to get all the details right. We plan to use the contractors for our bathroom remodel as well.

We googled Core kitchen designs and found a very professional and friendly team with Sal and Henry. Our kitchen came out exactly how I wanted it to and the experience was very fun. Sal and Henry use a wonderful experienced contractor (Pacific sunset designs) they made the construction go very smooth and easy. Core designs and Pacific construction were right on budget the entire time with no hidden costs. Everything was out in the open so I knew exactly how much we were spending the entire time. So much I can write but basically you can stop researching and reach out to Henry and Sal for your kitchen reno.

You will be so happy with their level of service, overwhelming knowledge, quality of products, communication, and even price! Renovations are expensive, they consume your time, and you obviously want to get it right. Before going with Henry, we got quotes from a few cabinet companies. Some companies with lots of reviews in San Diego but charged four times the price for what appears to be similar level of cabinets. Others are chinese companies that have no customer service and are pretty low quality and were only a bit cheaper.

Honestly, it was a no brainer. Henrys knowledge is priceless. He helped me with my design concerns that I spent DAYS mulling over in a matter of minutes. He has so much experience and is so willing to help. There is a lot of math and planning that goes into purchasing cabinets so it was so helpful to have someone to double check my designs. He was also there to give us advice on all the other aspects like considerations for removing our load bearing wall, material selections for countertops, etc. I appreciated how he was always fair and reasonable in his opinions and was just willing to help even if we didn't go with their services. We also got countertops through them and the contractor they recommended was exceptional.
