Furniture Clinic Contracted to replace Leather Seating and 1 arm with New Green Leather Hide on 2 Suites and were supposed to colour match remaining leather to the New Leather. After numerous delays and problems suites delivered. After several days seating peeling , they had actually sprayed colourant onto whole suites.Two failed repairs later there solution is to keep calling out and respray the Seating which as mentioned should have came from supplier ready finished and the rest of suites colour matched to it. I've owned several suites and no leather has ever peeled mabye scratched or scuffed in time but never peeled.

My Husband and I visited the factory yesterday as we lived close by and wanted to ask if the restoration kit was the right product to use on our scratched leather sofa. We were met by Duncan who looked at the photo's of the scratched sofa we had on our mobile phones and he looked at the swatch of leather we had taken. Duncan was very knowledgeable about his products and advised what the best product/s would be. We can't wait to get to work with the products we bought and restore the look of our sofa. We have previously bought the balm from Furniture Clinic years ago for a previous sofa which was faded with age and it worked perfectly. We would recommend anyone not to hesitate to contact the company for advice as they are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I ordered the leather repair kit and a bottle of colour to match my bonded leather settee, after been told by a few companies that it’s a waste of time trying to fix those, I thought I’d give it a go myself, followed the instructions and took a patch out of the back to fix the torn bit, at first I used the adhesive in the kit and honestly that was rubbish so i resorted to spray on Bostick adhesive instead since that stuff remains flexible, then i used the filler in the kit which really is not enough and had to order some more, after the patching up was done I applied the colour and now I figure it should last a couple more years before it needs to be replaced, overall I’m happy with the result and learned a bit along the way.
be careful, a lot of places are passing off bonded leather for proper leather and these things aren’t cheap, better to pay a bit more and buy from companies who have a reputation to lose, they wont try those tricks, lesson learned, mine is still in showroom condition apart from where the leathers was bonded to another pieces so I’m happy I was able to save it from the scrap heap for another couple of years, not bad for about £100 spending

only thing I would change is the adhesive in the kit which is really not up to scratch and double the amount of filler

The entire procedure from booking, meeting with Craig the assessor, collection, return and most importantly the reconditioning of the suite have all been first class.
Would recommend without hesitation and the cost is very reasonable.
