My friend and I had lunch at the Rockwall location this past Thursday. It’s usually my practice to go home and write a review after my first visit. I hesitated this time because the staff is simply fabulous but the food was not. We loved the ambiance and decoration and the huge selection for seating. Our seating was comfortable and convenient. We’d visited your restaurant to splurge a bit but prices were high so we settled on the larger sirloin. Neither steaks were prepared to order. Both were overcooked and extremely tough. My friend ordered gravy for her mashed potatoes and it was missing. Our waiter was exceptional and we did tell him but we did not want to send our food back. You were not busy at the time but there was a birthday party downstairs. It bothers me a lot when the staff is so great and the food isn’t. In a case like this having been a business owner I like to share my experience privately. And I did but you never responded.

Brought the team for a nice lunch and we had an excellent time. Sat near the Beatles bar which was apparently purchased in the 80s and shipped over to Rockwall from London!

Had great service from our waitress, every bit of food we received was perfect, and not a single complaint from any of the 14 of us! Will be back for sure and highly recommend!

My wife and I have always wanted to try this place. It was a really nice evening, so we decided to eat on the patio with the band. It was fantastic. Everything was really nice, and the service was top-notch. The food was fantastic. Those were the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. We will be back!

We shared a fajitas dish advertised as feeding three and decided feeding four was more realistic. The food quality was superior. The facilities were interesting. Service was all that might need improvement. Serving utensils for shared dishes and drink refils would have been nice. Ample free parking was paved and adjacent to the building.

We visited Culpepper for the Fajita Friday special advertised on social media, we stopped in around 11:30am. Seated after a few minute wait and we were greeted by our server promptly with fresh tortillas and butter. We each ordered the fajita specials to try, one beef and one chicken both with flour tortillas (no substitutions or changes). Our fajita orders arrived within 1-2 minutes after ordering and overall was just okay. Portion sizes were small and the plates contained mostly onion no peppers; served with a small side of rice, beans, cheese and toppings. Flavor wise the food was bland, however the chicken had more flavor than the beef.

We were hopeful based on the fajita advertising on social media, but not as impressed as we’d hoped. We might give another shot and return to try Happy Hour and other menu options.

Culpepper Restaurant is a gem! The customer service is impeccable, and the food is always delicious and beautifully prepared. Whether it’s a cozy date night with my wife or a large gathering, the experience is always flawless.

The live band on Fridays and Saturdays is the cherry on top, creating an unbeatable vibe. Culpepper is our go-to spot for great food, great service, and great music. Highly recommend!

Making a reservation online was easy. The restaurant was busy and had to wait at the reception before we could be seated. The reservation was for patio seating but they gave us a table inside and we requested a table in the patio. What's the point of a reservation if the details are overlooked?

The live band inside the patio was good. Be aware that drinks in the patio are served in plastic cups only. Started off with margaritas which were nothing to rave about. Chose to switch to red wine. Guacamole for the appetizer was ok and so were the steaks. Service at the table was good but there were misses on requests.

Overall an ok-ish experience.

Pricing : High, considering the experience. Not worth the money spent.

Will I return? : Probably not given there are restaurants that offer a great experience in the area.
