We started construction on our new home around March of this year. This was our first truly custom built home from picking the lot to having plans drawn up, it was our dream home. I made the decision to select and negotiate with all the suppliers on the large parts of the home like the exterior stone/brick, HVAC, cabinets, windows and doors. I'm all about finding the best quality at an affordable price.

We knew from the start the kitchen was our main focal point, due to our large family gatherings every few months. We met with a custom cabinet builder in our area and quickly learned they were way out of our price range. Our builder recommended another local cabinet company and we met with them a few times trying to nail down the design and options. They just could not get their act together with staff changing mid stream. I then met another cabinet company at a local home show, who would never even provide me a quote, why did they waste money on a trade show booth...

I then Googled local cabinet shops in Raleigh and ran across Triangle Cabinets and did what you're doing, read the reviews and read nothing but positive comments about how Giovanni cared and went the extra mile for his customers. After we met with Giovanni at his store, I was more than impressed with his professionalism and knowledge about the cabinet business. He was very patient with my wife and I as we met with him numerous times over a few month period deciding which cabinet style, color and options. We knew we had to stay within our budget and Giovanni took the extra time to recommend changing to another cabinet manufacture, that offered great quality cabinets with standard features that were extra dollars from other manufactures.

He also helped us on all the granite top selections, and when the fabricator made a mistake on our selection, he worked with us and the fabricator to ensure we were happy with the outcome.
With any project, there will be issues, it's how those issues are resolved that make the difference. Out of all the contractors that worked on our home, Triangle Cabinets stood out above the crowd, he was VERY responsive day and night with questions and design tweaks along the way.

The installation and quality of work he does is unmatched and first class. Even my builder questioned why I selected these cabinets, but once he seen them installed and seen the quality, he was impressed. I would highly recommend Triangle Cabinets to anyone looking for quality cabinets at a fair price, from a person that cares about his business and the customer he is serving. These days, it's hard to find that combination! Attached is one photo of the kitchen, we are still under construction and cannot wait for the home to be completed.

I wanted to post another review of my experience with Triangle Cabinets. We ended up selling our home that we had originally installed cabinets from Triangle Cabinets a few years ago. We had no choice but to use the home builders cabinet suppliers. Instead of purchasing the cabinet options for the laundry room and above a desk from the builder, we decided to save a buck and do it ourselves. It was a very small cabinet project. I figured purchasing something from Lowe's would be the simplest route. After speaking with Giovanni, he showed me a much better quality cabinet that would match our existing cabinets and also provide soft close features. It was a few dollars more than what I was looking at, but he also provided me all the necessary trim pieces and most importantly advice on how to ensure I install them correctly so they look good. This was the first time I installed my own cabinets, so let's just say it was a learning experience and good thing I have a day job. I'm pretty handy and did get it done and they look great and the wife is pleased. Like my last home, Giovanni takes a hands-on approach and was very responsive to all my needs and answered many questions during the project.
