This is an amazing hiking spot just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. It's pretty hilly, and because of that the trails get very muddy when it rains. The trail map is so inaccurate, it's basically useless. Despite these faults, I have an amazing hike every time I come here. The views are picturesque and the trails are challenging but fun. If you enjoy being lost in nature just minutes from the city, this is your spot.

We always enjoy hiking the trails at Tandy Hills. But today was spectacular with all the wildflowers! That land is truly special with so many native species in just that small area! Really beautiful.

It's a beautiful area to go for a hike. There are plenty of trails to choose from. When you get deeper into some of the trails, they do become a little overgrown. You shouldn't let that deter you from enjoying this beautiful area.

A little gem just outside Fort Worth near I30. Great view all around especially of the downtown area

Evidently lots of outfits go here for the backgrounds and many use the area for running / walking.

Parking is not plentiful so be prepared for that

Quite and a little out of the way, but near downtown Fort Worth. Mostly unpaved trails and a bit rugged. Street parking only, but not a problem.

It was a beautiful place to go on a hike however the parking in the street wasn’t ideal I thought there was a parking lot I didn’t find it but the neighbor hood is peaceful.

Tbh: Went there in winter. Looks like a garbage dump

Edit1: the entrance area all around the playground is well taken care of. But further in a little down the largest trail in the middle (past those large rocks) is a lot of trash left and right on and off the trail. Maybe that was just because someone dumped his trash recently but it was kind of a letdown. The view on the skyline it beautiful though.

Beautiful untouched area close to the city. This is rare. Easy to navigate, just as easy to get lost but that's part of the adventure. Encountered wild animal tracks as well as signs of street folks making this place their home. Just wish everyone practiced 'leave no trace' will do my part and bring a trash bag to do a little beautification next hiking trip here.

Did a evening hike to see the sun set and it was perfect. Felt safe the whole time and the moon provided more than enough light.
