During my interview of Ron for a bathroom remodel estimate, I was convinced of his knowledge and experience. What particularly won me over was his commitment to keeping the house livable while the single bathroom was being completely remodeled (I'd just need to shower at friends' houses for a little while). His crew, under Alfonso's lead, completed the enlargement and entire remodel of the bathroom in just 3 weeks providing excellent work. While Ron's estimate was distinctly above the other two I considered, the speed and smoothness of this potentially disruptive project made the price well worth it, and the resulting bathroom is beautiful.

Ron, Avi and the guys at HQR did a stellar job on our huge home remodel. We added a second story to our small 2-1 craftsman bungalow in Oakland, nearly doubling it in size. We also moved a kitchen and living room wall and completely gutted our very old kitchen. We basically rebuilt the entire home, while doing out best retain and restore the character of our nearly 100 year old home.

We had tried to start this process over a few years, running into snags and unethical contractors along the way, and are so happy that we landed in the capable hands of this team. At every step along the way, we felt honestly communicated with and cared for on a personal level. In addition to this, all of the subcontractors they worked with were top notch as well as courteous and considerate of our neighbors.

Not only did they do a remarkable job and make our house the talk of the neighborhood, they went above and beyond to really be sure we were always 100% happy with all of the work being done. Even with the pandemic hitting right in the middle of our project, they managed to finish within our original timeline as promised. I would without a doubt recommend them for any project you have, large or small.

Family Dones

We experienced a flood on our 1st floor of our house. We reviewed 4 different contractors’ proposals to address the drywall & floor that was removed by the restoration company to dry out the walls. We decided to go with Home Quality Remodeling based in Concord, CA.

Our project manager, Yogev, has been excellent with his constantly keeping us in the loop on our project. His honesty, dedication, and above and beyond communications with us put him and HQR in first place in our consideration. We selected our floors at their home office where everyone welcomed us with a firm handshake and smile.

We also appreciate Yogev’s patience as we go back and forth with our home insurance vendor who has changed the requirements of the project quote a few times. Yogev’s professionalism and optimism shines with every correspondence. We feel we made the right choice with Yogev and HQR. We look forward to completing our project with HQR.

While I didn't have them build or remodel anything yet, Alexis and Danni were very professional and friendly from the beginning. I appreciated Alexis' expertise running through my house and offering some truthful assessments including not investing in a remodel for a certain room. I'll certainly consider the team in the future for any remodels and repairs to the home. They've built houses from the ground up, so have experience in pretty much anything.

I want to share my experience with HQR. My wife and I had a significant remodel to do and we are new to the area. We found HQR through their advertising and interviewed their project manager, Itzik, for the job, along with others of course. We were not disappointed in our selection of HQR. They were always responsive, from Itzik the project manager, to the ownership. Moreover, the contractors they selected were top rate. Ruben and Alex did a great job. They were very knowledgeable about the trades, they kept to their schedule, they kept us informed and involved in the decision making, and they were very organized and clean. At the end, we had to work out details and some costs and HQR was professional and accommodating. I don’t hesitate to recommend them.
