The local Sherwin Williams was no comparison as they basically suggested one type of paint and offered no assistance in narrowing down my color selection.

Teknicolor Paint stores in general all deserve a 5 star review. Every employee is super helpful and knowledgeable about the products they have. I have been painting professional on and off for years now and would not be the painter I am without the help from Teknicolor Paints! They are good with telling you what primer is better than the other, what paint to use on which kind of materials, and which products are recommended for each job. I never would have though paint can be so complex, but Teknicolor makes it easy!

I went into this store 2 times to understand paint per se and because I was curious about Benji Moore paints. Until then i his painters who just slapped on cheap Sherwin and didn't ask any questions. Adam was super helpful both visits and I went with it. After reading a lot too to confirm Benjamin Moore is superior to Sherwin Will. Very helpful store not just to sell but to help you know what you're buying, again, esp. compared to SW, which was my only past experiences.
