I worked with Sarah on my remodel after a dishwasher leak. She worked really hard to address my storage concerns and provided great suggestions on the overall design. She was patient and quickly responded to my questions or concerns. The support offered on designing the room is great for anyone who doesn't have an eye for it like me. I knew what I wanted, but had no clue where to begin. I would recommend Cabinetek to anyone looking for guidance on what is good for not only your family, but for resale value. The product selection would fit any budget and all are quality items. I had one issue with a drawer and it was resolved within days with a replacement delivered before I finished my project.

Reviews and network referrals are a normal course of how most base their buying decisions. Unfortunately I have been witness to what it's like at the complete opposite end of the desired spectrum, and share this to help guide your own judgement and future cabinet sourcing decisions. If you read no further than this, I would strongly encourage you to review Cabinetek's terms and conditions ("Payment terms are 50% down upon order, remaining balance due 7 days prior to initial scheduled delivery date, unless specified in writing by your salesperson or office manager"), and pre-negotiate up front to NOT PAY the balance of your order UNTIL you physically see the materials and determine if it meets your expectations. By paying for your materials before actually getting a chance to review them, there is little vested interest in helping you timely resolve any quality related issues.

Earlier this year in February I kicked off a project engagement with Cabinetek, where a coffee bar was supposed to be installed by July 13. Coffee bar materials were originally delivered 6/24 where the entire batch of doors, side panels, and railing were in unacceptable condition (scratches, dents, pits, incomplete paint work, etc). Elevation was also incorrectly measured requiring removal of a duct to the opposite side of my wall, as well as the cabinet top cap being to small to fit. I immediately requested a warranty claim.

On 7/24 (1 month later) I was told new materials were in, and I borrowed a truck to come pick them up. Upon opening the materials they had the same exact issues (scratches, dents, pits, incomplete paint work, etc). I immediately requested a second warranty claim and a meeting with the owner (Tyler). I met with Tyler 7/26 at my house and heard nothing from him for 2.5wks after.

On 8/23 (2 months past original delivery) materials were confirmed to have arrived, and I requested Cabinetek to bring them to my house this time so we could open them together. Upon unwrapping, the materials were absolutely filthy, and again in the same unacceptable state as before (scratches, dents, pits, incomplete paint work, etc). I immediately requested a third warranty claim. I heard nothing from Cabinetek for a week until my installer also reached out for an update inquiring what the status was.

On 9/3 I was told the OEM (Pioneer) would be picking up the damaged materials and would refinish them. Tyler also stated he was disappointed with the quality, but materials were within NKBA industry standards of acceptance (apparently terrible quality meets his standards)? At this point I requested a break on the project cost given all the issues and 2.5mth install delay thus far. Here Tyler only offered $250 compensation which was insulting given the $7000 price tag, and I professionally asked him to reconsider.

On 9/12 I had received no update for another week leading me to start calling Cabinetek looking for Tyler and path forward. Here I was told Pioneer's plant project manager would be overseeing the refinish work.

On 9/19 Communication from Cabinetek continued to be terrible, and again I reached out as I hadn't heard anything. Finally on 9/24 Tyler responded stating that the refinished materials did not come out with good quality and Pioneer would be replacing them again.

On 10/1 (3mths past original delivery) Tyler brought materials to my house (4th time now) and we unpackaged them together jointly reviewing that there were still paint issues with the materials. At this point I could no longer stand to deal with the terrible one way communication, egregious quality, lack of urgency, and eye sore of a partially installed coffee bar area. I agreed to accept the materials and again respectfully inquired about a reasonable project cost refund given all the delays and effort on my end to date. Tyler acknowledged I had a case and confirmed he would talk to the OEM (Pioneer) and get back to me no later than Oct 4.

Today is 8/11 and I haven't heard a word from him since...

When I decided I wanted to try to install our own cabinets, I turned to Cabinetek for help. Tyler carefully crafted a quote, and also came to the house to do a confirmation survey/measure. Tyler also helped us work through some issues with the cabinet manufacturer, and advocated on our behalf for a reasonable solution. Tyler has also been so patient with all of my questions about the various nuances of cabinet installation. I would recommend Cabinetek to others.

If I could give more stars for this company I would. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful they have been. Their representative has been to my house several times to make sure that the measurements they have are correct. I have a funky ceiling soffit in my kitchen which is very unusual and Cabinetek has gone above and beyond to accommodate the unusual measurements. They seem to be dedicated to getting everything correct and I have full confidence in them. Friendly and knowledgeable I would recommend them highly.

I recently had my kitchen remodeled and came to Cabinetek with a preliminary design. Tyler was fantastic and assisted me in choosing the best cabinets for my kitchen, and a very realistic price for me and my family! The cabinets were delivered within the estimated time, and I could not be happier with the end result!

Also, when a drawer I received was broken upon delivery Tyler came out and personally fixed the drawer at a later date after the installation! Every single person I spoke with was very friendly and courteous and I've already recommended them to several people looking for new cabinets!
