I loved working with Lakeside for our kitchen renovation. They did a huge project for my parents which turned out amazing so I knew they would be reliable and their quality of work was exceptional. They were able to create the design that I envisioned. The end product looked exactly like the renderings. The people were friendly and professional and the job wasn’t done until I was completely satisfied. I will definitely be using Lakeside for all of our future project.

Top notch and very professional. Came when they said, and worked steadily to complete the job in good time. Excellent workmanship and dedication to doing a good job. Jeremy directed the project quite effectively and Damian from their roofing team was exceptional. Went above and beyond to complete his portion of the job beautifully and on-time. They took care of every aspect of the project - permits, architect work, site preparation, project management and clean up. They are not the low-bid for sure, but I wanted competence, dedication and reliability over price. And they came through, met my expectations and integrated the addition to the front of our house so it looks like it was part of the original structure built 30 years earlier. They have my wholehearted recommendation without reservation!

**Edit- Lakeside was able to come and fix our floors. The process took about a day and half and overall we are pleased with them being able to address and remediate the issues we had experienced.
We had work completed in the early summer of 2023, changing a breakfast nook area into a half bath, complete kitchen remodel, and plaster work for pretty much half of our second floor. Prior to starting work, Lakeside came out and assessed our home and made recommendations based on the degree of work we were needing.
While throughout the project there were some red flags, we brushed off the small things. Our main problem area is the flooring. We opted for a luxury vinyl click tile that our salesman had recommended as a good option for what we were looking at for the kitchen floor and it would also run into the half bath we were having put in off the kitchen. They tore out the linoleum flooring and began installing. No issues were brought to our attention throughout the installation that would make us pause. There was no underlayment placed and no indication from the team working that there may be some concerns with the flooring and installation. Once the install was complete, everything was seemingly fine. However, a few months later we started to see some stress in the flooring edges at certain spots, then the tiling started to crack at the edges of one of the tiles. We reached out to Lakeside with photos and they sent out someone to come and fix the tile. While it was frustrating that it happened we chalked it up to a mistake and were thankful for the speedy resolve. However, a few months later, the replaced tile began chipping at the edges, and it didn’t really look that great as it was coming up again at the edges—part of the remedy initially was construction glue to hold down that tile. Additionally, a new seam of a different tile started to have the same issue plus the flooring to our basement stairs is also cracked and in that time we also had to put a couple thin pieces of wood below the flooring to ensure a bit more evenness and that no further damage occurs. We reached out again to Lakeside and they sent the same person out to assess. At this point, the same worker speaks to someone and it’s determined that we need to find a different remedy as the subfloor was not even and this was not caught during installation. A project manager emails me to let me know that they’re working to see if the warranty covers this issue and they can get new flooring. Later we find out that since the flooring was purchased two years ago and seemingly the tile is discontinued (not sure if it’s discontinued due to issues with the product or not), there is no resolution on that front and basically the only option is to come out and replace the tiles again that are coming up and damaged—which if you’ve ever seen the process of replacing click lock pieces, it’s not easy nor is it generally recommended. This is an issue that is only going to continue and we’ve only had this flooring for a little over a year at this point. It’s very disappointing that a project that was as expensive as it was (over $50,000) and, I will also add was pretty sub par, is now seeing issues so shortly after completion. I reached out two weeks ago expressing these concerns and have not heard anything back. This has been a very disappointing process overall and we are still left with multiple areas of stress and breaks in the tile.

Lakeside is a great company to work with! We had pretty extensive siding work done about ten years ago, and were very happy with the results except that some of the trim paint they were used was fading differently than the siding itself. We also had a piece of framing fail where the electrical support cable attached to the house, which damaged some siding as well (not their fault). Lakeside sent George out for a combination warranty and customer pay job, and in three days he made the entire house look great! Their price for the extra work was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend!

EASY PROCESS, ON BUDGET AND BEAUTIFUL FINISHED PROUDCT!
I had a vision for an outdoor covered patio space, but after starting the process of meeting with architects and getting various bids from contractors, I became discouraged that my vision would never fit in our budget.
Enter Lakeside Renovation and Design.
From the initial meeting with our sales consultant Gary, I finally felt hopeful that our project was feasible, without jeopardizing the look and quality of the design.
Lakeside was upfront about the cost and timeline, and because they are a design-build firm, it made the process so easy.
When construction to our outdoor patio addition started, I could immediately tell our project crew leader Gerald and his team were the real deal; they worked hard, were polite and were very knowledgeable. In fact, at the beginning of construction, Gerald made a design suggestion for our covered structure that was not part of the architectural plans or my initial vision. It made complete sense for our project and because of Gerald's knowledge and attention to detail, we have a fabulous patio!
Our project manager, Chris, was great to work with, and he was communicative about timeline, material delivery and when contractors would be at our home to work. I could tell that our project wasn't just another project for Chris, and that he truly cares about making every detail perfect.
The finished product is an absolute dream, and we constantly get compliments from family and friends. It's a space we'll be able to entertain and create memories for many years to come.
We've already recommended Lakeside to our friends, and they're in the midst of construction on their own covered patio!
Thanks Lakeside!

Lakeside made our back yard dream come to life! From the first meeting to the last screw it turned out just like we imagined! We are very happy we chose to go with Lakeside Renovation and Design! Shout out to Gary who helped us pick out and design, to Chris who made sure it all ran smooth, and the mastermind Gerald who brought all to life! Top notch for sure!

Our porch overhang and under deck system was the second job we had Lakeside complete for us. As usual, from sales, project manager to crew everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and showed up when we were told they would. They completed our job in the time frame we were given. I honestly wish we hadn’t waited so long to do this project as it exceeded my expectations. Since the first project was a complete renovation of our main floor and basement, I have run out of renovation projects for them to do. However, if I come up with another project, they will be the first company I call.

Estimating process was terrible. It took 3 weeks to wait for a designer. Then they did a “no call no show”. It took another 2 weeks before he could come out. Once he did it took over 4 weeks to get a ballpark estimate. I finally called the office and respectfully asked to work with a different designer. The sales manager advised he would look at the notes the designer took and work out my plan. Within 2 hours I got the bid which half of it was wrong. It felt like it was a F-U type of quote. I was ready to drop some cash with this company because I heard good things. I would advise to stay away and put your time into someone else. Terrible customer service.
