Stan is awesome!

Last year, I had him replace my old laminate flooring with a new porcelain tile floor running from the kitchen through an entryway to the bathroom. It was an awesome experience from start to finish. Stan came out and gave a reasonable estimate, some design suggestions, and worked with me to figure out my HOA's bizarre noise-insulating underlayment requirements. When he came back to do the work, he did an incredible job and was on-time with the work. And I've gotten a lot of compliments on the installation.

This year, I decided to finish up my major projects in my condo by installing new kitchen countertops, so Stan was my first and only call to install the backsplash. It's a small job, but he was reasonable in his pricing and gave great design suggestions, wisely recommending not to use an organic edge on a sidesplash given the thickness of the tile I had selected. The quick job was complete in two mornings.

Stan is truly a catch of a tile contractor, and I feel lucky to have found him. He's also fun to talk to! I don't know if I'll have any more work for him in the foreseeable future, but he'll definitely be my first call if I do. And you can bet I'll be recommending him to my friends. ?

I am very happy with the work completed but more so the way the work was completed. I think you can tell a lot based on how a contractor arrives and leaves a workspace; for each visit the working area was spotlessly clean. The communication throughout was clear and responsive to set expectations and transparent for all updates. It took us way too long to figure out what tile we actually wanted installed, but it was worth the wait because the installation looks great and we're very happy with they way it looks. I know I will be hiring D Tile and Flooring again in the near future.
